Balsamic Glazed Pork Chops: In Less than 30 Minutes

Updated: Apr 21

Balsamic and glazed with honey. These chops are balanced perfectly with sweet and tangy flavors. Pairs well with anything and ready in just a few minutes.

The recipe calls for a sweetener of your choice. I recommend using honey. It adds depth to the flavor. You taste the honey at the end of your bite. And who doesn't like honey? Use "local honey" found near you to help with any allergies you may have.

Balsamic Glazed Pork Chops

Ingredients

  1. 4 Thin Sliced pork chops, fat trimmed

  2. 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

  3. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  4. 2/3 cup balsamic vinegar

  5. 2 tsp. Honey

  6. Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Trim pork chops and season with salt, and pepper.

  2. Heat olive oil (preferably in a cast-iron pan) and brown pork chops well on both sides. About 5-6 minutes on each side. Set aside.

  3. Add the vinegar and honey to the same pan, and simmer until slightly thickened.

  4. Then add pork chops and cook over medium-low heat until pork chops are cooked through (165 degrees internal temperature)

  5. Glazed the pork chops with sauce as needed. ***Be careful not to let the glazed mixture burn Serve hot, and wait for compliments!
