Caprese Skewers with Balsamic Dressing

Caprese skewers are not only visually appealing but also a delicious combination of flavors. The sweetness of the cherry tomatoes, the creamy texture of the mozzarella, and the aromatic basil come together beautifully in each bite.

Caprese skewers are a go-to appetizer for any occasion. The simplicity of the ingredients combined with the burst of flavors never fails to impress my guests. Plus, they are so easy to assemble, making them a stress-free option for any host.

Whether you're hosting a dinner party, a holiday gathering, or a summer BBQ, these skewers will add a touch of elegance to your spread. So, why not give them a try and elevate your appetizer game?

Caprese Skewers

Ingredients

  • 20 Cherry Tomatoes - halved

  • 10-12 oz Mini Mozzarella Balls

  • 20 Basil Leaves

  • 2 tbs Balsamic Dressing

  • Toothpicks or skewers

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients:  Wash the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves. Drain the mozzarella balls if they were stored in liquid.

  2. Slice the tomatoes into halves – you can keep them whole if you prefer. By slicing them, the sweet tomato juices drip deliciously onto the mozzarella.

  3. Thread the skewers – slide half a tomato, a mozzarella ball, another half of tomato, a basil leaf and then another mozzarella ball.

  4. Arrange them onto your serving platter.

  5. Drizzle with Balsamic dressing – just before serving
