Chopped BLT Salad

Delicious and Easy Chopped BLT Salad Recipe for a Healthy Lunch or Dinner

Endless possibilities to be explored on this favorite Chopped BLT Salad. Add another favorite protein and this becomes a well rounded healthy meal.

Chopped BLT Salad - Serves 4

Ingredients

For dressing:

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives

  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh dill

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

 For the salad:

  1. 1 head romaine lettuce, cored and chopped

  2. 4 ounces cherry tomatoes, halved

  3. 1 cup croutons, preferably homemade

  4. 2–3 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped

  5. 4 oz of Bacon, cooked and chopped

Instructions

To make the dressing

  • In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients

  • Set aside

To make the salad

  • Toss together the chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs

  • Divide between individual salad bowls

  • Top bowls of salad with croutons

  • Drizzle the dressing over the salads and top with the chopped bacon

  • Serve immediately
